Creating a new post

To create this new post, from my blog listing, I clicked on the Blogger icon in the upper left and logged in. Then I was able to access my account and post this message.

But I am curoius why my links that I edited aren't now showing up on the blog. They did earlier after I edited the code. And there surely is an easier way to add links to your blog than search for, manually adding the code, and then republishing the blog. What if I didn't know HTML?

My initial posting

This is my initial posting to my new blog. I had to register and create a blog to participate in another blog that I was invited to. That doesn't seem right. I understand the desire of blogger.com to have people register before they can post to a blog, but to create a blog for each registrant seems like a bit of an overkill.

(Just did a spell check on the above paragraph. Does anyone else find it interesting that the spell checker doesn't recognize 'blog' as a word?)
